The Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization of businesses and professional people dedicated to advancing the economic well-being within the greater Carol Stream area. Serving our members, we offer a variety of programs to keep our members at their competitive best. We are committed to helping you network and build your business.
Some
of our benefits and programs for 2011-2012 include:
Monthly Luncheons: Held the second Wednesday of every month, with occasional exceptions. Chamber members meet at 11:30am for networking followed by lunch, ending by 1:00pm. Monthly guest speakers present pertinent information to our members, keeping them apprised of current issues or occasionally strictly networking exercises. We feel it is the best hour and a half a month that you can spend – opposite of cold calls!
Business After Hours: Take full advantage of this Chamber networking event. Chamber members are able to meet other members in a more relaxed setting to exchange business information and contacts. 5:30-7:30pm held in one of our Members’ businesses. It’s a FREE event!
Business Before Hours: This early morning gathering op gives some of our members the flexibility to network, when they otherwise could not. Free and valuable event. Includes “Speed Networking” at close of event.
Women In Business: Held every other month at different venues, the Chamber's highly successful WIB events are filled with exceptional networking opportunities and provide the attendees an opportunity to hear insightful, relevant speakers focused on women's issues and needs.
Business & Community Directory: This handy reference tool is used extensively in Carol Stream. Chamber members are featured in a special section of their own. 12,000 directories are printed delivered to homes in Carol Stream and requests are filled weekly through the Chamber office. An additional 3,000 are also distributed through local businesses, including the hotels, Village Hall and Library.
The Chamber Connection: Quarterly Chamber newsletter that keeps its members informed of pressing business issues and concerns that affect their bottom line (March, June, September, December).
Monthly Electronic Newsletter updates to keep you current on the latest happenings of the Chamber, created in Constant Contact.
Social Media Marketing via Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn about events and opportunities. Do you ‘tweet?’
Mini-Exhibitor Table:
Chamber members have the opportunity to exhibit their business through a table
display at a monthly luncheon FREE one time each year + another at WIB event.
Have a very VISUAL presence at a luncheon.
Website listing: Each of our members has their own listing on our Chamber website, complete with contacts addresses, web site link, email link, hours of operation and description. Enhanced listings and banner ads available.
Job Postings: Members can post job openings free of charge, on the Chamber website.
Chamber Library: Need to learn more about business or marketing? Visit the Chamber Library at our luncheons.

Your one-stop
wedding-planning event, where the community can interview and interact with
local businesses for their upcoming Special Day. (4/14/12 @ Holiday

Annual Golf Scramble:
This Chamber tradition inspires both the scratch golfer and the duffer to
greater heights. A fun, non-competitive event for all to enjoy. One of the most
popular in all of DuPage County, they say! Opportunities for sponsorship
available to ‘get your name out’ to over 150 golfers.

Annual "What Women Want" Expo:
The Carol Stream Chamber Women in Business will again present a charming and
'pampering' Expo. It's all about Chocolate. It's all about Shopping and
Pampering, Awareness and Inspiration at this PINK event. Put your business in
front of other business professionals as well as community attendees.

Holiday Social:
As we draw close to the end of the year, this event provides a last opportunity
for our Chamber members to network and wish each other holiday cheer in a
lively, social atmosphere.

Your Business”:
An annual luncheon with baseball theme where members “pitch” 45 seconds about
their business to all in attendance, making it memorable.
